A Birmingham branding and digital marketing agency has been bought out by a West Midlands firm.
OWB Creative has been acquired in an undisclosed deal by Worcestershire communications agency DRPG.
The purchaser said the buyout represented a significant milestone in its growth strategy, adding OWB's experience in brand development, design and digital marketing to its roster of services.

"Our growth in the West Midlands, and in particular Birmingham, was accelerated with our involvement in the Commonwealth Games in 2022.

OWB has been in business for 24 years and delivers creative campaigns across various sectors and the acquisition by DRPG will open new avenues for collaborative projects.

The acquisition is part of a series of investments DRPG said it had planned for 2024. The group also acquired The Special Event Company recently, a live and virtual event agency based in North Carolina in the US.
