A Bristol-based business expert has been named one of the top 100 most influential people in the country for 海角视频-India relations.
Ameeta Virk, Business West鈥檚 India market specialist, was presented with an award at a reception hosted by Lord Gadhia at the Houses of Parliament.
The event marked the culmination of India Inc鈥檚 海角视频-India week - a four-day series of events designed to celebrate the countries' shared economic and cultural ties.
Ameeta was recognised for her work assisting South West companies grow their export sales in India as well as leading overseas trade visits and facilitating visits to the region by high-ranking Indian officials and business leaders.
Other figures to make the top 100 this year include business and political leaders such as Antonia Romeo, permanent secretary for the Department for International Trade 海角视频; and Emma Walmsley, chief executive of GlaxoSmithKline.
Ameeta, who joined Business West in 2014, said: 鈥淚鈥檓 hugely excited to be part of this list. India is a country very close to my heart.
"It鈥檚 a beautifully complicated place to do business and being able to work in the field of 海角视频 鈥 India trade and introduce British businesses to the opportunities in India is truly rewarding.
