Six former Lloyds Pharmacy outlets in Wales have been acquired by West Midlands family-owned firm Jhoots Pharmacy..
The acquisitions in Wales form part of deal that sees Jhoot acquiring 36 海角视频 former Lloyds Pharmacy sites across the 海角视频, in a deal expected to safeguard 212 jobs and create up to 130 new roles.
The acquisition has been supported with a new 拢17.4m funding package from HSBC. The acquired pharmacies in Wales include those in Risca, Morriston, Caerphilly, Bridgend and Aberystwyth Jhoots Pharmacy, which owns and operates 63 sites across the 海角视频, will use the funding to undertake refits and enhance pharmacy offerings and have access to urgent care services.
The new roles being created include pharmacists and qualified dispensers, as well as increasing opportunities for apprentices and trainees.
