The shortlist for this year’s MPA Inspiration Awards 2023 have been revealed as organisers look to celebrate the best in Manchester’s creative and digital sectors.

The MPA, the not for profit association creating a connected community among Manchester’s media, digital and creative agencies, has run the awards for 11 years.

They, will be staged once again at the Midland Hotel, Manchester on October 19.

A judging panel chaired by Nicky Unsworth met earlier this month to pick the shortlist.

Chair of the MPA, Christian James, said, “It has been another inspiring MPA Awards judging process, revealing some outstanding work among a record number of entries – reflecting, we hope, that these really are awards that people believe in. The creativity and originality of the work was quite incredible right across the board.”

Cindy Simmons, managing director of the MPA said, "I was very proud to see that once again the community we represent has embraced our awards and has pushed the boundaries in terms of quality and content.

“ In particular our ‘people’ categories, recognising young future talent, were extremely well supported again this year. This reflects how embracing and helping to nurture future talent is an intrinsic part of the MPA and fits with our mantra of helping anyone working in or with Manchester’s Media, Digital and Creative businesses to thrive. The ‘collaboration’ category was also well represented which stands as testimony to the open and collaborative nature of the MPA and its members.”
