Brewers Seven Brothers has started a crowd funding campaign to help get its Liverpool site off the ground after plans halted following the lockdown.

The brewery, which has sites in Manchester and Salford, wants to also open a bar in Leeds and expand to four more º£½ÇÊÓƵ locations.

It is now hoping to raise £250,000 for its expansion plans.

In return investors who pay £250 will receive 15 per cent discount off purchases made through the web-shop and in any of the beer houses and will be treated to a free pint in any of the beer houses on their birthday and a brewery tour with friends.

The bigger the investment, the higher the discount will be, it said.

CEO Keith McAvoy said: “We’ve built a business on core values around simplicity, transparency, locality and family and thanks to our extended family of over 1,500 investors we’ve seen our business grow.

“We believe we are on our way to becoming one of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s go-to breweries.

We have created three much-loved drinking destinations in Manchester and Salford and we hope to replicate this in new cities.”
