Senior figures at the likes of Siemens 海角视频 and HSBC are among five new board members to join the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership.
Siemens 海角视频 director Justin Kelly and HSBC 海角视频's head of asset finance Miles Rothbury have taken on the roles alongside Vimla Appadoo, co-founder and director of culture design of Honey Badger, Marilyn Comrie, director at The Blair Project, and Steve Connor, chief executive of Creative Concern.
The GM LEP is the body that brings together senior figures from the business community, academia, Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham and other public sector leaders to set Greater Manchester鈥檚 strategic course and drive prosperity, economic growth and job creation in the city-region.
GMLEP chair Lou Cordwell said: "We鈥檙e delighted to welcome Vimla, Marilyn, Steve, Justin and Miles. Each will offer new ideas and fresh perspectives to our board, and I鈥檓 looking forward to working together as we look to implement our economic vision.
