The technology arm of a North East accountancy firm is set to create new jobs after expanding and investing in its offices.
RMT Technology is aiming to double the size of its team over the next two years after move into a purpose-built 1,800 sq ft space at RMT Accountants & Business Advisors’ Gosforth head office. The new base has additional desk space as well as a specialist area where customer solutions, developed by the company’s team engineers, can be created, tested and refined.
The tech division works with SMEs to identify security-driven IT solutions which meet specific business and operational needs. It provides managed services as well as a consultancy service, to help customers with their technology infrastructure, information management and cyber security systems.
Now RMT Technology is looking to create 15 new technical and project management jobs over the next two years, as part of its strategy to boost its client base across the North, and its first new recruits are set to join during the summer.

RMT Accountants and RMT Technology are part of Sumer, the Ƶ and Ireland accountancy practice which now employs over 2,200 staff across more than 40 offices.
