Revenue more than doubles at Northcoders as losses slashed during IPO year

Revenue more than doubled and losses were slashed by more than half at software coding training programmes provider Northcoders during the year it completed an IPO.

The Manchester-headquartered company has reported a revenue of £3m for 2021, up from the £1.3m it achieved in 2020.

The firm's pre-tax losses were also cut from £1.2m to £523,588.

Northcoders was valued at £12.5m and raised a total of £3.5m, before expenses, following its admission to AIM in July 2021.

During the year it has grown its headcount from 37 to 63 and signed deals with the likes of the NHS, PrettyLittleThing, Wren Kitchens and Sky Betting & Gaming.

It also expanded into Leeds and is set to open a new training hub in Birmingham in May.

A facility at Grimsby Town Football Club is also expected to open during the third quarter of 2022.
