A new £3.5 million headquarters for a Nottingham truck company has officially opened.
More than 90 people attended the opening of the new head office and Nottingham site of East Midlands Renault Trucks dealer, RH Commercial Vehicle’s (RHCV) at Blenheim Industrial Estate in Bulwell.
Located three miles from Junction 26 of the M1, planning permission for the new 1.7-acre site was granted in 2018.
A significant 12-month development programme immediately followed with contractors, Samclo Construction handing over the keys to RHCV in June 2019.
The new site was developed as part of plans to boost accessibility and enhance RHCV’s presence along the M1 corridor, joining the dealership’s existing sites in Northampton, Leicester and Alfreton.
In addition, the site boosted RHCV’s services with a workshop, a brand-new authorised testing facility (ATF) lane, paint booth and tacho-rolling bay.
Nigel Baxter, managing director at RHCV, said: "The official opening marked an exciting new chapter for RHCV and our head office.
"We are constantly responding to customer needs and through the new improved site and a clear strategy, we will be able to continue providing an unrivalled and flexible service within new and used truck sales, workshop and parts delivery alongside contract hire and truck and van rental.”
