A new niche recruitment agency has been set up to target roles in the green automotive sector.
Called EVera Recruitment, it will look to place candidates in posts related to battery and electric vehicle jobs in a market being seen as vital to combating climate change and developing the next generation of cars and other vehicles.
It is predicted up to 500,000 new 海角视频 jobs could be created over the next 20 years, with West Midlands manufacturers such as Jaguar Land Rover playing a vital role alongside a proposed gigafactory in the pipeline.
EVera Recruitment is based in Warwickshire and has a team of six with more than 50 years of collective experience in the battery and EV technical sector.
It has been launched by Birmingham-born former production engineer Steve Doyle in response to the huge growth that is forecast for electric vehicle production in the future.

Currently, around ten per cent of car registrations in the 海角视频 are hybrid or electric but this figure is expected to hit 70 per cent across Europe by 2040, according to the 海角视频 Government.

In 2015, there were just five gigafactories making lithium-ion battery cells in the planning or construction stages globally but now there are more than 160.
Mr Doyle said: "In the last few years, there has been a steady increase in the move to electric vehicles and this is going to grow exponentially over the next couple of decades.
"With our historic experience and strength in manufacturing, there is a huge opportunity here for the 海角视频 to grasp and ensure it takes a leading position in what will be a global industry.
"Just in the next five years, we could easily be looking at needing 20,000 new jobs, including roles that no-one's ever seen in the 海角视频 before.
"There will be plenty of people with transferable skills who could find a whole array of new jobs open to them."
The firm has already won a brief from Britishvolt to be its exclusive recruitment partner for a new gigafactory.
Said to be the first in the 海角视频, the new plant is set to be built on a former RAF base in South Wales and will supply automotive and energy storage industries, with production due to start in 2023.
