Record year for job-creating digital agency used by AstraZeneca, Royal London and the NHS

Revenue at a digital design agency, which works with the likes of AstraZeneca, Royal London and the NHS, surged by almost 70% during its latest financial year.

Macclesfield-based Nexer Digital has reported a revenue of £6.9m for the year, up 68% on its previous 12 months.

The firm said it saw a "significant growth" in the delivery of user research, service design and related UX services in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ public sector, including sizeable contracts with the Department for Education and Nest Pensions, with work in the sector increasing by more than 50% from last year.

It also completed projects for clients including Health Innovation Manchester, NeuroResponse and ConvaTec Group.

Nexer Digital's headcount also increased from 55 in 2020 to 90 at the end of 2021.

The company is aiming for it to grow to more than 110 within the next 12 months.
