PwC, Uber and TalkTalk: The 16 major North West employers creating thousands of jobs

Thousands of job opportunities are on offer across the North West as some of the region's biggest employers continue to make a string of major recruitment announcements.

Firms including PwC, Uber, TalkTalk and BT are among those to have announced they are looking for new hires in Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire and further afield.

Professional services giant PwC is to create up to 1,000 jobs over three years at its newly-launched technology hub in Manchester.

The technology-focused roles will be in addition to existing recruitment of 3,000 people per year.

The company added that at least 100 of the new jobs are being recruited immediately for the tech hub which will be located at the firm’s Manchester office at 1 Spinningfields where 1,400 people are currently based.
