Property services firm McLaughlins undergoes rebrand as it launches new first-of-a-kind franchise scheme

The company is targeting a team of 60 surveyors by the end of the year

A growing property services firm has officially rebranded following the launch of a new franchise scheme.

Chartered surveyors McLaughlins, which was founded in Stoke-on-Trent by the McLaughlin family 40 years ago, will now be known as MCL.

The rebrand comes as the company seeks industry professionals to join its first-of-a-kind franchise scheme for surveyors.

Nine new members signed up on the day of the launch event in Sheffield – increasing the number of surveyors on the company’s books to 38.

Now MCL is urging more residential chartered surveyors to apply for its free 'business-in-a-box'scheme which will be known as the 'M-CLUB.'

The company – which had just five surveyors when managing director Joe Miller joined in November 2020 – is targeting a team of 60 surveyors by the end of the year.

Joe, who was formerly head of operations at SDL Surveying in Nottingham, said: "Having grown to this size from what was a small family business, I felt it was time to look at the next exciting phase in our journey.
