Grimsby's Projekt Renewable has secured The Crown Estate as a patron and landed £50,000 from the landowner.
The town centre scheme, which aims to open up renewable energy careers to more people, is set to expand its Alexandra Dock shipping container set up on the back of the partnership. The £16bn portfolio holder says it wants to demonstrate to people in Grimsby its role as a manager of the seabed.
The national landowner will now take up space at the project which first emerged last year. It joins supporters myenergi, RWE Renewables 海角视频, the NSPCC, Wilkin Chapman LLP, the University of Lincoln, and the Town Deal as well as other patrons.
