Youth charity, The Prince鈥檚 Trust, is holding its first Festive Marketplace on Saturday (November 25) to celebrate young entrepreneurs.
The marketplace at Battersea Power Station is a celebration of a new generation of entrepreneurs and aims to raise awareness of how The Prince鈥檚 Trust supports young people to overcome challenges in their lives and realise their dreams of becoming their own boss.
Prince鈥檚 Trust Ambassadors and famous faces supporting the day will include entrepreneur and musician Levi Roots, actor and disability campaigner, Adam Pearson, and Made in Chelsea star, Verity Bowditch, who is also one of the founders of Battersea Power Station based vegan restaurant, Clean Kitchen.

In addition, the event will draw attention to the charity's young Black entrepreneurs including Frank鈥檚 鈥 organic skincare by Kyle Frank; Pimp Up Your Plants - hand-painted plant pots and vases, home accessories and more by Louise Grant; Nwanne - Organic and hand poured candles and home fragrances by Maggie Ibiam; and KatcheeGifts 鈥 stationary, stickers and accessories by Kieran Bond.
All the stallholders are young people who have set up their business through support from The Trust鈥檚 Enterprise programme; a free course that helps young entrepreneurs to explore ideas for starting their own business. The programme provides young people with the tools, guidance, mentorship and funding to bring their business idea to reality.
This year, The Trust is celebrating 40 years of the Enterprise programme which, since it was launched in 1983, has supported more than 90,000 young people across the 海角视频 to start their own business.
Jo McKnight, head of enterprise at The Prince鈥檚 Trust said: 鈥淲e are excited to be back at Battersea Power Station to give visitors the chance to shop with these incredible businesses ahead of the festive season.
鈥淎s we look back on 40 years of our Enterprise programme, it鈥檚 amazing to think these young stallholders are just a handful of the 90,000 who have been supported to start businesses through The Prince鈥檚 Trust. When you shop with them, you get a glimpse of just how much this generation can achieve when they have access to the right support and opportunities. They鈥檝e got so much to offer and I can鈥檛 wait to see what they go on to do with their businesses and beyond.鈥
