Our regular look at Birmingham's social scene is back after a long, covid-induced break

Remember when we could go about our business, networking freely without a care in the world?

Back then, Post People, the regular society page in our sister newspaper the Birmingham Post, did a great job of reflecting this and showcasing what was happening and where.

But all of this ground to a halt in March 2020 when the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and the world went into lockdown.

Thankfully, networking is now back which means so is Post People.

Here is the first of what should become a regular feature on BusinessLive West Midlands so it's over to accounting and recruitment company Sheridan Maine and its charity golf day (see gallery).

Sheridan Maine sponsored the Corporate Pairs Challenge which saw 64 golfers compete at the Blackwell Golf Club in Bromsgrove for some fantastic prizes.

Managing director Jamie Rodden said: "Recruitment has always been an industry based on meeting people, building relationships and having some fun along the way.

"To get back out on the course, with our clients, meet new ones and for everyone to get the chance to network again was fantastic. As always, the venue was excellent and the event ran smoothly."
