Plymouth Science Park welcomes two non-executive directors

The new directors will bring experience in renewable energy and economic development

Plymouth Science Park has welcomed two non-executive directors.

Amber Morley and Kerry Hayes will bring their experience in renewable energy and economic development to the Devon-based science park.

Ms Hayes currently serves as the projects development manager at Simply Blue Group and Renewableº£½ÇÊÓÆµ's shadow board chair, where she actively advocates for increased female representation within the industry.

She said: “I have a long history with living and working in Plymouth and the South West region and as such I am delighted to join the board of Plymouth Science Park. The Park is a hub of innovation and technological advancement and I look forward to contributing to its mission of fostering growth and collaboration in the region’s business landscape”.

Ms Morley is currently development manager at British Land, a FTSE 250 property company, where she spearheads initiatives in innovation and lab workspace across London, Oxford, and Cambridge. Prior to this role, she played a pivotal role in the British Land Strategy team, where her analytical skills and research insights shaped the long-term vision for the portfolio.

Ms Morley said: "I am thrilled to be part of Plymouth Science Park, an exciting institution at the forefront of innovation in the South West. I look forward to contributing my experience to further its goals of driving technological advancements in the region”.

Councillor Tudor Evans, Leader of Plymouth City Council, said: “Plymouth Science Park is home to an ever-expanding range of businesses which helps provide jobs for local people and also is the home to essential services with links to the Hospital.
