Law firm Fletchers Solicitors has appointed three senior clinical negligence solicitors in its Newcastle offices.
The newly appointed solicitors - Lindsey Henderson, Jennifer Craven and Michelle Thomson - are said to bring a wealth of experience in complex, high-value medical negligence claims and are recognised for their dedication to securing justice for clients impacted by life-changing injuries.
Ms Henderson, senior associate solicitor and Newcastle team leader, has specialised in clinical negligence for 15 years, while Ms Craven, senior associate solicitor, more than 12 years experience in the same field. Associate solicitor Ms Thomson brings more than 19 years experience in the field. They will be joined in the new office by director of Business Development, Michelle Beat; associate and head of costs negotiation and advocacy, Lissa White-Delf; chartered legal executive, Natasha Kular, and litigation executive, Cameron Forster.

Roofing, building maintenance and security products specialist Hodgson Sayers has appointed Aaron Elliott and David Spence as contracts managers and Will Wigham as assistant quantity surveyor.
Mr Elliott, from Newton Aycliffe, specialises in heritage work and has taken the lead on a significant Grade I listed restoration project at Woodlands Hall, Knitsley, Consett. Mr Spence from Quarrington Hill, Durham, is said to bring a wealth of experience to the business and will oversee a number of key projects.
Will Wigham, from Wallsend, joins as assistant quantity surveyor and will be supporting the team across a wide range of contracts. His appointment is part of the company’s continued investment in early career roles and technical progression.

The Freemen of Newcastle, whose lineage stretches back to the medieval trade companies of the 13th century, has sworn in Mike Carter.
Mr Carter made the journey from Manila, Philippines, to join the ranks of the Freemen – a dream several years in the making. He said: “It’s something I’ve been working towards for the last two or three years, but the timing has always been difficult with my work in the United States and home life in the Philippines. But this year I made it – and the biggest reason was my son, Sam, who lives here in Newcastle. He’s passionate about becoming a Freeman too, and this step makes it possible for him to continue the family tradition."
The investiture ceremony took place during Hoppings Week – a celebration that brings thousands to the Town Moor, which is managed in part by the Freemen.

Tees Valley Combined Authority has appointed Tom Bryant as chief executive.
The experienced leader, with a career of more than 20 years in local government, has been interim chief executive since March and was previously the Combined Authority's director of infrastructure. The 44-year-old was approved to take on the new role by the Combined Authority’s cabinet members at a meeting where former TVCA head of marketing and communications Craig Peacock was also appointed to the new role of director of inward investment and marketing.
Mr Bryant's appointment comes as part of a revised senior management structure for TVCA Group, which has seen the removal of the group chief executive role and creation of separate leadership for TVCA and the South Tees Development Corporation (STDC).
Mr Bryant said: “It’s an honour and a privilege to be appointed chief executive. Our organisation has been a real engine for change during my time here – and I’m determined that continues. I’m also fully committed to ensuring that we continue to listen and improve in response to our Best Value Notice.”
