Newcastle-based affordable house builder Adderstone Living has announced four new appointments to support business growth and expansion.
Debbie Hope joins as director of new business with a brief to develop the company’s range of affordable properties for social housing providers in Yorkshire over the next 18 months, including establishing a new regional office. She has more than 12 years’ experience in affordable housing development within the public sector.
Also appointed are senior planner Emma Moon, senior estimator Neil Fitzpatrick, and technical coordinator Jordan Dixon, who will all be based at The Fleming in Jesmond. Director Stephen McCoy said: "Our strength lies in our people and Debbie, Emma, Neil and Jordan, whose values align with those of the business, will be terrific additions to the team. The next chapter of success is already being written and we will only go from strength-to-strength in 2024 on the back of our investment in additional skills and a commitment to deliver high standards of service and product excellence."

Media agency Route has appointed former Weetabix head of marketing Gareth Turner to the board as a non-executive director.
Mr Turner has over 23 years of experience in national and international roles, marketing household brands including John Smiths, Bulmers and Lurpak. As part of his role, he will use his expertise and industry gravitas to help hone Route’s ambitious plans.

Teesside-based Pneuma Group has added to its staff to help deliver a pipeline of new property deals.
The parent company of Middlesbrough game development company Double Eleven has appointed Kay Kendall as business administrator as it develops plans to revitalise the region through targeted investments and acquisitions. Ms Kendall has responsibility for providing support across the group.
The group recently announced its acquisition of Gateshead restaurant Six at Baltic and managing director Keith Nicholson said: “As the Pneuma Group expands and the business and property transactions become larger and more complex, it is essential to have an administration function with the level of skills and capability as Kay has to help us in our first years of operation.”
She said: “I am delighted to have been welcomed into the Pneuma team, and I can’t wait to get started on the breadth and depth of work that the role entails. The group is at an exciting time and has significant plans ahead and to be a part of that is a great opportunity for me to deploy my skills and lead the administration of the group.”

Reward Finance Group has appointed Aaron Tinmouth as business development manager.
Originally from South Shields, Mr Tinmouth has spent five years in the banking sector and he will support Harriet Gibbs, Reward’s business development director in the region, establishing relationships with property investors and SMEs through her network of brokers and business advisers.

Bristol Street Motors has announced management changes within its Tees Valley dealerships.
Lee Stewart, general manager of Bristol Street Motors Darlington Nissan, is set to make a strategic move to the brand’s Stockton Motornation dealership, which will soon transition into a dedicated Nissan business.
Jass Singh is taking over Lee’s role at Bristol Street Motors Darlington Nissan. Despite recently retiring, he has decided to come back for a “further stint before he hangs up his boots.” He is a well-known figure within the automotive industry and has previously earned the title of general manager of the year within the wider Vertu Motors group.
