One of Staffordshire’s oldest marketing agencies has undergone a management buy-out.
Harrison Carloss – which first opened it’s doors in the 1970s – has been acquired by its managing director, Adam Mobley.
The company – whose original name was HCL Marketing – had been where it has successfully built on its foundations in strategic marketing.
In that time it has undergone an entire rebrand, expanded its services and grown to a team of 10.
Now it has been taken over by Adam Mobley following a decision by the group that the company should be ‘free to pursue its own course.’
Adam said: “It has been fantastic seeing Harrison Carloss go from strength-to-strength over the last 18 months, knowing that I’ve played a central role in that journey along with the team.
“With a background in design and technology, it’s something that I am personally passionate about. I’m now looking forward to continuing to push the business forward and deliver the very best for clients, both existing and new.”
Harrison Carloss is a creative agency which offers everything from print marketing to services that now include digital, web design and web development.

It has grown its portfolio of clients significantly since January 2019 and has worked with a number of well-known businesses – both locally and nationally – including Dr Martens and sports brand Asics as well as Alton Towers, tyre-giant Michelin, pub company Parogon Group and Newcastle-based AEON Engineering.
The company’s former owner Gareth Mobley will continue to be a part of Harrison Carloss as a shareholder and non-executive director, while Adam will continue in his role as managing director and take full commercial responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business.
Gareth said: “I am a huge believer in the power of marketing. It was undoubtedly a significant factor in helping us to build my previous business, Solidor into the high-growth, well-known business that it was then and still is to this day.
