One Black Bear wins college ad campaign

Birmingham agency will work with South & City College on plans to add to its 20,000 student numbers

South & City College Birmingham's campus in Digbeth

Creative agency One Black Bear has won a brief from South & City College Birmingham.

The agency, based in Digbeth, will devise an advertising campaign for the college aimed at increasing its 20,000 student numbers.

The large FE college comprises eight campuses and also incorporates Bournville College.

One Black Bear’s work is due to roll out in early spring with the campaign focusing on differentiating the college from its competitors.

Kate Hartshorn, managing partner at One Black Bear, said: "Education is changing rapidly and colleges have to find a credible way of securing good applicants in an ever more crowded marketplace.

"We're delighted to be working with another Digbeth-based client and look forward to giving them a point of difference and consistent tone of voice to all their marketing."
