Novus on track to exceed growth targets after winning £23m in new business

The company wants to increase its turnover to £250 million and create 250 new jobs by 2026

Build maintenance and compliance contractor Novus Property Solutions is on track to exceed its growth plans after winning £23 million of new business in August and September.

Earlier this year, the Stoke-on-Trent company unveiled an ambitious strategy which would see it create 250 new jobs and increase its turnover to £250 million by 2026.

It also announced that it was 'streamlining' its business to help achieve its goal, meaning the entire Novus business now sits under three main services – Maintain, Assure and Projects.

Now, following a spate of new contract wins, Novus is on course to exceed its goals.

The bulk of the work has been secured through Novus' core Maintain service on projects based all across the country – from Scotland to the South East.

CEO Steve Davies – who only joined Novus in July – said: "Novus has a strong reputation for its service, but when I joined the company it was obvious that there were vast reserves of untapped potential for growth within the business.

"We took some strategic decisions to focus on key business areas – creating the Maintain, Assure, and Projects services – and to concentrate our expertise on particular sectors, mainly housing, education, and healthcare."
