National contractor Novus Property Solutions has extended its 2021 winning streak after securing its biggest contract of the year so far.

The Stoke-on-Trent business has won a £9 million refurbishment and repair contract for thousands of homes owned by regional housing association Bromford.

The contract – which covers Bromford's homes in the West Midlands, Shropshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire – will see Novus undertake repairs and redecoration for up to 21,000 social and affordable properties.

The contract is in place for the next six years with the option to extend for a further two years.

The latest deal follows a hugely successful summer for the family-owned business, which secured £23 million worth of new business in August and September alone.

Gary Clay, head of operations for Novus in the Midlands, said: "As previous incumbent contractor for Bromford, we are delighted to have re-secured this contract as we continue to build on our fantastic working relationship with the organisation.

"Not only are we proud to have secured a contract of this size with a forward-thinking client like Bromford, we are incredibly proud of the manner in which it was won.
