A Nottingham web design agency has secured a string of new project wins despite the coronavirus lockdown.

Strafe Creative, based in the city鈥檚 Creative Quarter, has reported it has secured five new projects since the lockdown, meaning the company has been able to retain all its staff on full pay.

The projects have been secured from clients in diverse sectors and include updates to a current client鈥檚 website who offer serviced offices, a new Hubspot website for a marketing firm and a new website for an adventure holiday company.

Ross Davies, a director at Strafe, said: 鈥淭he projects will all bring significant improvements to our clients鈥 sites, ensuring that their potential is maximised during the current uncertain economic climate and beyond.

鈥淎t a time when budgets are tight, it is important that companies make the most of their existing assets and we are pleased to be helping our clients do just that with their websites.鈥

Strafe itself has used the lockdown to spend time revamping its own website to help attract more clients.

Ross said: 鈥淲e decided to press ahead with the launch of our new site despite the Covid-19 lockdown as we know that, as with all companies, it鈥檚 essential that we continue to put ourselves out there online to promote our businesses.

鈥淚t鈥檚 vital that your online presence provides the best and most up-to date representation of your company, and as our previous site no longer did that for us, we decided to publish our new one live ASAP.

Strafe Creative started out with a team of two and now employs 12 people, with a client base of national and multi-national brands.

It is planning to open two further office locations in 2020, in London and Leamington Spa, in order to better serve its national and international client base.

Ross said: 鈥淲e are all pleased with the look and functionality of the new site and feel it is a more accurate representation of the company Strafe has grown to be over the past ten years, featuring our work with clients such as BP, Lockwood Publishing, the NHS and Go
