The North East Business Awards will this week take place in a virtual format for the first time.
Two of the three heats for the awards - in Tyneside and Northumberland; and in Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside - took place in February, before the coronavirus lockdown took effect.
But the Teesside heats and the regional grand final were cancelled. The Teesside event was held earlier this month, with winners from each heat now competing in the grand final.
The original event had been due to take place at Hardwick Hall in County Durham in April, but now will take place virtually.
