In his new position at Newland Homes Mr Knight will strengthen the connection between site teams and the firm's head office. He takes the reins from Dale Martin who recently retired.

Mr Knight said: “Newland Homes has a great reputation within the industry for its quality product and respectful working practices. Staff turnover is extremely low and there’s a constancy of management that you don’t see at other housebuilders. A friend joked that you only get to work at Newland Homes if somebody retires! This is my forever job and I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the projects.”

The housebuilder found that 31% of Newland Homes' employees have worked with the company for 10 years or more. One of those is Ian Hughes, associate construction director.

Mr Hughes as worked for the firm for 15 years and commented: “We singled out Jason as we knew he would be a great fit for the team.”
