New study shows top 200 most successful firms in Derbyshire - is your company on the list?

University of Derby study shows which companies are driving the local economy forward

The Derby Telegraph has today published the new Top 200 list which has been compiled by the University of Derby(Image: University of Derby)

New research has been published today ranking Derby and Derbyshire’s top 200 most successful businesses.

The University of Derby, on behalf of the Derby Telegraph, has compiled the league table, known as the Top 200, which shows the biggest contributors to the region’s economy.

Academics from the university’s Derby Business School have used publicly available information, including data from Companies House, to rank the top 200 private sector, active businesses with registered offices in Derby and Derbyshire on turnover.

It is the third year that the research has been published. This year, the main sponsor of the publication is Castle Donington-based Invictus Communications.

This morning, an event took place at the university’s Enterprise Centre to launch this year’s Top 200.
