A communications agency has announced a new management team and change of name.
Advent Communications was formed in Coventry in 1998 but has more recently been known as PLMR Advent after London-based PLMR acquired the firm in 2021.
The business will now be known as PLMR Midlands, operating from offices in Birmingham and Coventry, and be led by director Rebecca Langton who joined the agency in April.
Ms Langton spent a decade working in local government and is a former councillor and cabinet member of Nottingham City Council.
She will combine her role as head of planning and built environment with responsibility for leading the Midlands team.

Ms Langton will be supported in her post by account director Rob Milne who joined the company in 2016 after graduating from his journalism studies.
She succeeds Lee Corden in the role who is leaving the business in October after successfully managing the merger while Advent Communication's founder Adam Dent will step back from day-to-day involvement but remain on as an adviser.

PLMR's founder and chief executive Kevin Craig said: "Rebecca has made a great impact since joining the firm by winning business and establishing very strong regional contacts and this is very much a natural progression.

PLMR was founded in 2006 and has offices in Coventry, Birmingham, London and Ipswich.
The company operates services such as public relations, public affairs, media training and web design.
Mr Corden, who has spent almost 25 years with the firm, is joining Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce.
He was first hired by Advent in 2001 after graduating from his journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire.
"I'm excited by this new opportunity. I know the chamber first hand having worked with them for more than 20 years and can see the potential to further develop its media operations," he said.
"It is the voice for business in Coventry and Warwickshire - something that is incredibly important at the moment - and there is an opportunity to build on that but also look at all of the media channels it has at its disposal and to develop those for the benefit of its members.
"It was always going to be a big decision to move on but this opportunity was simply too good to turn down and it felt like the right time to make the step."
Chamber chief executive Corin Crane added: "We're delighted to have someone of Lee's experience and skillset on board. We already know him well and that means he can hit the ground running with us.
"I've thought for a long time now that we can further develop our media operations including our magazine, our online news and newsletter - alongside our social media and external media - and that is something this move allows us to do."
