A Black Country component supplier has acquired new premises and expanded its order capacity after securing a fresh round of funding.

Tipton-based Direct Channel Support Services supplies strut channels, cable tray and trunking, brackets and cable containment systems.

They are used by customers in the construction, heating, ventilation, mechanical and electrical sectors and are sold directly to trade buyers in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, Europe, Asia and North America.

Established in 2010 by husband and wife team Sid and Rani Sidhu, the business was previously based at two smaller premises in the Great Bridge area that collectively comprised 25,000 sq ft of warehousing and office space.

Using a new £578,00 loan from Lloyds Bank, the company has now further expanded its footprint, with the acquisition of a new 30,000 sq ft building situated on Britannia Works, also in Great Bridge.

The move will support the firm's future growth ambitions and increase the size and complexity of its customer orders.

It also provides the business with significantly more capacity to hold stock which is needed following an uplift in its importing activities in recent years.
