A consumer law firm has hired a head of employment to spearhead its new division from Birmingham.
Neha Thethi has joined Lime Solicitors to lead the service which it launched last summer.
She has more than 11 years of experience handling employment claims, with a particular specialism in discrimination cases, whistleblowing, trade unions and unfair dismissal.
Ms Thethi, who has joined from Slater and Gordon, said: “I am excited to join Lime Solicitors as head of employment.
“My main focus is to successfully support and represent employees. It is a devastating time for those who have been dismissed or subject to unfair treatment.
“I am passionate about protecting my clients’ interests and working hard to understand their cases in order to achieve their objectives in the most cost effective manner.”

He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in information security and technology, working for organisations such as The Bunker, BlueChip and Anix Group.
West Midlands law firm MFG Solicitors has boosted its commercial litigation team with appointment consultant James Ng.

Mr Ng is a specialist in dispute resolution and is based in the firm’s Birmingham office in the Jewellery Quarter.
In his new role, he will handle a variety of corporate, commercial and property matters while also developing the firm’s litigation offering in the automotive, engineering and franchising sectors.
He will also work with clients doing business in China and East Asia and plans to launch a new Chinese Business Group with a programme of events starting later this year to give commercial and networking opportunities to the firm’s Chinese clients.
Birmingham content marketing agency HDY has appointed Andy Herbert in the newly created role of chief operating officer.
He brings more than 15 years of executive management experience and will support the agency’s directors with their expansion plans.
Mr Herbert previously worked as operations director at McCann and head of creative services and talent at Cogent.
HDY is based in Digbeth and was co-founded by Global broadcaster Ed James and marketeer Angel Gaskell in 2018.
Business networking group Made in the Midlands has promoted Charles Addison to managing director.
The Birmingham-based group, which works with manufacturers across the region, said Mr Addison would focus on improving member retention and growth of the Midlands region and in its sister operation in Yorkshire.
Incumbent managing director Jason Pitt will now become group chief executive and oversee its platform development and strategic direction.
Financial services firm EY has appointed Martina Neary to the post of head of financial services in the Midlands.
She replaces Amit Thaker who will retain a leadership position in the Midlands and returns to his tax technology and transformation role.
Ms Neary has more than 20 years of experience and is a consulting partner at EY, advising businesses in the insurance, wealth and asset management industries on matters such as transformation projects, mergers and acquisition.
Ben Morphet has also recently been promoted to partner to the firm’s financial services assurance practice in the Midlands.
