New chief executive joins Solihull Moors from club sponsor

Experience financial and business services specialist takes on the top role at National League club

Anne-Marie Eden, chief executive of Solihull Moors FC

An experienced financial and business services specialist has taken over as chief executive of the West Midlands football club her previous employer sponsors.

Anne-Marie Eden has been appointed to the top job at Solihull Moors with immediate effect, replacing Calvin Barnett.

He held the post on a part-time basis for almost two years following his investment in the club alongside chairman Darryl Eales in summer 2018.

Ms Eden has a 30-year career in the sector and was most recently head of client experience at accountancy firm Jerroms.

She said: "With Jerroms as one of the key sponsors of Solihull Moors, I have spent every home game at the club hosting a variety of clients and business contacts.

"My love of the club and discovering a whole new world combining business with football began on Saturday afternoons last summer.

"When asked to become chief executive of Solihull Moors, nothing felt more right.
