Network Plus adds over 1,100 jobs as profits and turnover surge

Network Plus added more than 1,100 jobs in the year its profits surged by almost £20m, new documents have confirmed.

The Manchester-based utility and infrastructure service provider has reported pre-tax profits of £18.1m for the year to March 31, 2022, up from the £1.1m it posted for the prior 12 months.

Its turnover also jumped from £241.9m to £409.8m in the year, newly-filed accounts with Companies House have revealed.

During the year the group acquired arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management company Eos and Capital Traffic Management.

It also operated Network Plus Services, Go TTraffic Management and Overlec.

The average number of people employed by the group in the year also increased from 1,170 to 2,291.

A statement signed off by the board said: "This has been a hugely successful and important year for Network Plus Group.
