NES Global Talent continues expansion with new city centre office

NES, which specialises in placing engineers and technical personnel with blue chip clients in the oil and gas, chemicals, power and life science sectors, said its global headquarters will remain at Station House in Altrincham

Altrincham-headquartered international recruiter has opened a new office in Manchester city centre.

The new office, which officially opened on October 31, is located in Chapel Walks and houses NES's sales and operations teams, the firm told BusinessLive.

NES, which specialises in placing engineers and technical personnel with blue chip clients in the oil and gas, chemicals, power and life science sectors, said its global headquarters will remain at Station House in Altrincham.

NES said the new office will ensure it can keep up with client demand and further tap into the growth of Greater Manchester and the North West’s economy by offering local and international career opportunities for those based in the region.

Eddie Halkett, managing director for NES Global Talent, º£½ÇÊÓƵ, Europe & Africa, said: “The local economy in our home town is buoyant and the Manchester skyline is testament to that.

“To ensure we can continue to exceed both candidate and client expectations we will be further increasing our capabilities and head count across the whole spectrum of our industry offerings.”

Mr Halkett said NES chose to open the office in Manchester to “further enhance our ability to tap into the city’s exceptional pool of talent particularly from the city’s universities, with more than 100,000 students across Manchester and Salford”.

“In a world of global competition, we’re passionate about offering our international client base access to the deepest and broadest pools of talent in order to empower them to hire the best team,” he said.
