A Black Country lift maintenance and repair specialist firm has acquired a trio of businesses.

Kingswinford-based Deltron has bought out Liverpool outfit Abacus Elevators, Total Lift Care in Ormskirk and Bourne Lifts which operates in Wimborne.

This takes the number of acquisitions made by Deltron to eight since its management team of Scott Haywood and Lukas Schlenker took on minority investment from private equity house LDC last summer.

The undisclosed deals represent the next milestone in Deltron's acquisitive growth strategy, expanding servicing capabilities, increasing unit density and adding more than 770 new customers.

The business now maintains around 13,200 units and serves 3,700 customers.

Director Scott Haywood said: "Making complementary acquisitions is a key part of our strategy to build a maintenance-focused national elevator service business of scale in order to meet growing demand for our services from SME customers across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.
