Midlands contractor set to double turnover by 2024

Caxton Builders Midlands is eyeing up further growth after securing a £500,000 funding package from Lloyds Bank

A growing construction group is on track to double its turnover by 2024 – and create 20 new jobs.

Caxton Builders Midlands - which has bases in Stoke-on-Trent and Derby - was launched in 2010 to create brickwork sub-contracting packages for blue chip construction companies across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

Over the last 10 years, the firm has grown into a group of companies which operate in a number of different sectors in the construction market.

Today Caxton Group has 42 employees and is on track to achieve a turnover of £15 million in 2021 – up from £13.5 million in 2020.

Now the company looks set for further growth after winning an additional £500,000 funding package from Lloyds Bank, and is targeting a turnover of £24 million by 2024.

Caxton Group chairman John Webber said: "Thanks to the support from Lloyds Bank, we managed to have financial stability during what was a hugely challenging time.

"This meant we knew we could look after our staff and clients, while gearing up for what is turning out to be a very successful year.
