A garage owner who brought his Mercedes expertise back to North Wales is celebrating a successful first year.
Tim Sherwood, 38, was born and raised in Llandudno Junction but moved away for his career - working for 10 years in Milton Keynes at the home of Mercedes-Benz in the Ƶ.
Armed with this unrivalled knowledge, he made the decision to come home and establish an independent Mercedes specialist repairer - Three Point Automotive - in his home town.
He said: “I’ve been overwhelmed by the support that the people of North Wales have shown me, and I’ve been welcomed with open arms by fellow local business owners, which has been a real benefit.

“I’m a huge believer of shopping locally and supporting small businesses so I work closely with suppliers from around the county.
“This is something which is also important to my customers, and I’m very thankful that they have chosen to trust me with their vehicles.”

He said: “Since I’ve opened, I’ve been surprised at the number of one to three year old vehicles coming through the doors for routine servicing and repairs as some owners believe that vehicles under the manufacturer warranty cannot be serviced by independent workshops, which simply isn’t true.
“I use exactly the same genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, oils, and all work is logged on the national Mercedes-Benz Service Database, so warranties are unaffected.

“Word-of-mouth has spread so quickly about Three Point Automotive that I’m now at the stage that I need to start recruiting for another technician so that we can keep up with demand.”
