A married couple whose home renovation project became a social media hit have launched a new business based on their quirky taste.
Cat and Dain Maginnis started Wild One Interiors in September 2019 after documenting the refurbishment of their Cheshire home – and amassing thousands of followers on Instagram.
The pair started selling homeware and soft furnishings and eventually moved into a 2,000 sq ft warehouse in Talke, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Now the six-strong company has relocated to a new premises – more than double the size – on Longport Enterprise Park in Stoke-on-Trent.
Cat said: "We moved home and started renovating an old Victorian house and posting updates of our work on Instagram.
"We had a lot of positive comments and that's when we decided to make a business out of it.
"We started off with just a few different products and it's just escalated from there."

Today, Wild One Interiors sells a wide variety of products from tableware and decorative accessories to candlesticks, faux flowers and soft furnishings. It sources its products from a number of different suppliers based in the 海角视频 and abroad.
Dain said: "We have a very specific kind of vibe. All our products are based on our own tastes – we don't want to go down the usual mainstream route.
"Our inspiration actually comes from our company name – so there's a lot of animal print. We also do a lot of our own designs too.
"We are both very creative people and we have a great support network around us."
Dain added: "We started the business just before Covid so we weren't sure what was going to happen, but it's actually been really good for us because everybody was stuck in the house, staring at the same four walls."
Cat and Dain – who also run the Ink R Nation tattoo studio in Porthill, Newcastle-under-Lyme – are now looking to diversify into different areas, including gifting.
They also want to build relationships with housing developers and hotel chains.

Cat said: "We're always coming up with different ideas so there's lots of things we'd like to do with the business.
"But whatever we decide to do, we will always make sure we are staying true to our style."

Operations manager Cecilia Cahill added: "The company's growth has been so organic and I think that is down to the fact that Cat and Dain have created something that people like and want to replicate.
"To have started the business at home to building a team of six is really impressive. We've all really bought into the brand and we are part of it."
