Lucion Group completes latest acquisition with deal for Scottish firm ARPS

The Gateshead company has acquired Aberdeen Radiation Protection Services to boost its presence in the nuclear sector

An equity backed environmental group based in the North East has made an acquisition that strengthens its offering in the nuclear sector.

Gateshead’s Lucion Group has acquired specialist consultancy Aberdeen Radiation Protection Services (ARPS) Ltd in a deal that will expand its presence in Scotland.

Staff from ARPS, which was founded in 2001, will join Lucion as part of the deal.

Founded in 2001, ARPS provides radiation protection services to a wide range of industrial and non-industrial companies operating globally. It specialises in services for companies in the energy sector but also serves waste management industry and other sectors.
