Wales鈥 leading government relations and strategic communications agency, Deryn, has been acquired by one of the sector鈥檚 biggest 海角视频 players. The deal, the value of which has not been disclosed, sees Cavendish鈥檚 expanding its geographic presence across the 海角视频.
As part of the deal founders of Deryn in Cathy Owens and Nerys Evans will remain with the Cardiff-based business - which they set up 13-years-ago - but under the new name of Cavendish Cymru. The 13 staff at Deryn become part of a large team of more than 180 Cavendish consultants.
Deryn has built a strong reputation for its in-depth understanding of the Welsh political environment, with its leadership team hailing from backgrounds as special advisers, Senedd members and political editors.
The acquisition brings Deryn鈥檚 Welsh marketplace knowledge and strategic capabilities to Cavendish, ensuring its growing clients benefit from communications expertise in the 海角视频 and Ireland.
Deryn said its blue-chip client book will also align with Cavendish鈥檚 specialisms in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, tech and health.
