A Derbyshire recycling firm is celebrating its seventh award in the past six months after being named one of the best family businesses in the country.
Ward Recycling, which has six sites, including five in Derbyshire, has been named Midlands and Central Family Business of the Year at the Family Business of the Year Awards.
Organised by Family Business United, the awards celebrate the vital contribution that family businesses of all sizes play in the 海角视频 economy.

The win comes hot on the heels of a double success at the Derby Telegraph Business Awards where Ward won the Company of the Year and Employer of the Year titles.
The firm, which was founded almost 80 years ago, has also recently had successes at the Midlands Family Business of the Year Awards and the Business Masters Awards.
It means that the company, which is a fourth generation family business, has scooped a total of seven awards in the last six months.

“Over the last 70 years we have built up the business from a single site at Swadlincote with a handful of staff to six sites across the East Midlands and East Lincolnshire employing over 400 people. We are immensely proud of our achievements to date.”
Over the years, Ward has grown to become the largest independent metal and waste recycling company in the East Midlands, with a turnover approaching £150 million.
