Haydale Graphene Industries

Advanced material group Haydale Graphene has appointed Patrick Carter as chief financial officer.

Mr Carter joins the Ammanford-based firm from previous senior roles at Aukett Swanke, Charteris and at a number of private equity-backed renewable energy companies.

Haydale chief executive Keith Broadbent said: “I am very pleased to announce Patrick's appointment as Chief Financial Officer. As we continue to move further along our commercial journey, Patrick is a strong addition to our leadership team to ensure our absolute financial focus. Having his legal skills in house will also be a major plus as we continue to grow as a company.”

Swansea Business Improvement District

The founder of one of Swansea’s largest law firms has been appointed as the new chair of Swansea Business Improvement District (BID). Peter Lynn, a commercial lawyer and founder of Peter Lynn and Partners Solicitors, takes over from outgoing chair Juliet Luporini.

Swansea BID represents over 800 businesses in the city centre. It is governed by a board of voluntary directors, made up of private, public and third-sector representatives from the BID area.
