A new campaign aiming to raise awareness of apprenticeship opportunities across Coventry and Warwickshire has launched.
Our sister website CoventryLive has teamed up with The Ladder Apprenticeship Foundation, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training, Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership and Coventry City Council to partner on the new Ladder for Coventry and Warwickshire initiative.
It will bring together employers and training providers with the next generation of apprentices looking to kick start a new career.

It is the latest campaign to run under the 'Ladder' umbrella which was started in London in 2012 by then mayor Boris Johnson and partners and has since seen similar successful job-creating programmes in places such as Birmingham and Solihull, the Black Country and Staffordshire.
The aim of the Ladder for Coventry and Warwickshire is to connect employers across the two areas with job seekers of any age looking to start a new career via the apprenticeship route.
Partners working on the campaign will bring them together with training providers who run vocational, work-based classes covering a very diverse range of sectors such as advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, automotive and product creation.
Similar to the Ladder for Greater Birmingham, the partners will also be supporting CoventryLive in running an apprenticeship awards next year.
The initiative is appealing to all companies and organisations, from the smallest niche firms to the largest corporations, to get involved and offer people a fresh start and some real career prospects.

The partnership will operate a hub, managing a hotline and website matching service, connecting potential apprentices with employers.
The Ladder for Coventry and Warwickshire was officially launched in the city at Business in the Community's West Midlands Jobs Fair event, held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Kevin Davis, chairman of the Ladder Apprenticeship Foundation, said: "I'm so pleased the Ladder is coming to Coventry and Warwickshire and it is apt that we launched it at the BITC Job's Fair as it has been one of the most difficult times in living memory.
"Despite this, employers, training providers and apprentices have battled valiantly to recruit staff, continue training programmes and educate the next generation. The Ladder campaigns, events and celebrations will cheerlead this continued effort."

"There is continued work to do to increase the volume of apprenticeships delivered in the city and we are delighted to welcome the Ladder to contribute to our ambition.
"The council is a large employer of apprentices as we recognise the benefits they provide in helping us attract future talent from diverse backgrounds to upskill our workforce alongside the opportunities they provide to local people.
Marion Plant, a director of Coventry and Warwickshire LEP and principal and chief executive of North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, said: "Connecting employers with those looking for jobs and to improve their skills is vital for a vibrant, successful economy and also to allow the skills base to reflect the needs of a changing and flexible employment market.
"The apprentice Ladder is a part of the LEP's strategic reset framework with a focus on how we can offer good, skilled jobs and opportunities and we welcome it wholeheartedly."
Cllr Kam Kaur, portfolio holder for economy and place at Warwickshire County Council, said: "I am delighted to see such partnership working around such a critical area of business.
"Apprenticeships will be key to filling some of the skills gaps in the market across a number of sectors.
"Warwickshire County Council is committed to promoting the positive effects of all kinds of apprenticeships to both potential apprentices and to businesses."
