A national training provider headquartered in Derby has appointed a new chief operating officer.

Jennifer Bramley has taken on the role at Babington, which is an Ofsted 2 rated provider of apprenticeship and skills training based on Pride Park.

Jennifer joined the board of directors at the firm, which has 11 centres across England in October, 2018, as customer engagement director.

Since then, she has supported the continued growth and stabilisation of the business with her wealth of experience in the education and training sector.

Her appointment as COO will see her take the overall responsibility for the employability, skills and customer experience divisions at Babington.

She will work closely with the transformation team as they continue to develop innovative improvement across all operations.

David Marsh, chief executive of Babington, said “Jen is such an instrumental part of our group board and senior team and will really continue to drive improvements and new ways of working in our operations.

“We are very lucky to have her on board. Her knowledge and understanding of the sector is invaluable and she has already led the business amazingly well during the current crisis
