Carrington Communications:
BBC Radio Lincolnshire鈥檚 longest-serving breakfast show presenter Rod Whiting (pictured above) is bringing his 35 years of broadcasting experience to businesses across the 海角视频 as professional media trainer for Carrington Communications.
Rod, who has worked for the BBC, ITN and commercial networks for over three decades, provides media training through his own brand, Ultravox Media Training.
Now, Carrington clients are also able to access Rod鈥檚 media training, adding to the agency鈥檚 existing digital marketing services for clients in manufacturing, professional services and tourism.
It also means Rod 鈥 now a presenter on commercial station Boom Radio 鈥 has been reunited with his former BBC colleague David Sykes, who worked with him at BBC Radio Lincolnshire before joining Carrington where he leads the agency鈥檚 PR team.

Pick Everard:
Pick Everard has appointed Justin Neil as a new national director in its building services engineering team. He joins the Leicester-based property, construction, and infrastructure consultancy with 24 years of experience in design and construction, including four years in Qatar, where he worked closely on its widely celebrated National Library.
Justin's responsibilities are to lead and grow the 90-strong team nationally.

Fisher German:
Property consultancy Fisher German has strengthened its agency team after appointing two industry experts.
The firm has appointed Emily Billson and Katie Lea to its Midlands Agency team based in Ashby-de-la Zouch. Between them they have specialist knowledge of the Staffordshire and Derbyshire markets and a track record in the sale of village and country homes.
The firm has also promoted Lizzie Hefferin-Towey, who has been with it for three years, to negotiator.

Eden Public Relations:
Nottingham PR agency Eden Public Relations has expanded its team with the addition of digital and PR account executive Kyle Lynch and digital & social media account executive Charlie Peters.
The specialist PR and marketing communications consultancy based in the city鈥檚 Lace Market has just celebrated 23 years in business, and continues to grow its offering in the Midlands digital PR sector.
Kyle will focus on the team鈥檚 PR strategy and Charlie will enhance its organic and paid social media delivery.
After completing a year-long corporate communications placement at The University of Derby, Kyle joins the team with a first-class degree in Journalism.
Previously working as a content creator, Charlie joins the agency with a degree in English literature from the University of Warwick. He has prior agency experience as well as a diverse freelance career including sports and music journalism, podcasting and scriptwriting.

Timms:
Timms Solicitors have promoted family law paralegal Leah Pilling who has taken up a contract as a trainee solicitor.
Leah is a first-class honours law graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University and is combining work at Timms with studying for the Legal Practicing Certificate (LPC) and a master鈥檚 degree.

William Davis Homes:
There鈥檚 been a double success for two apprentice electricians at Leicestershire housebuilder William Davis Homes.
Demi Whitehead and Felicity Monks secured the top two places in a regional heat of a competition to find the 海角视频鈥檚 best young electrician.
Demi and Felicity, both aged 21, came first and second respectively in the qualifying heat of 海角视频 SkillELECTRIC.
The heat, held at Nottingham College, featured nine competitors, including two from the Armed Forces. They were each given the same technical challenges, which they had to complete in separate cubicles.
Demi will now compete in the 海角视频 SkillELECTRIC Final in November after being among the highest scorers in all the regional heats. She originally joined William Davis straight from school and is a former Apprentice of the Year at the company.

Head porter Les Patterson has marked 30 years of service at Rutland Hall Hotel 鈥 where his 鈥渟teadfast commitment to excellence and wealth of experience鈥 has played an integral role in shaping the resort鈥檚 success and expansion.
His journey at Rutland Hall began in 1992 when he was 28, in the security team, becoming a porter the following year, His initial responsibilities included setting up conferences and weddings, providing first aid, and serving as a fire marshal.
As well as managing porters teams he helps set up conferences and function rooms, collaborating closely with the events team.
His dedication also extends beyond logistics, taking on the valued role of 'duty manager', where he safeguards the resort and its guests, taking particular interest in fire safety measures such as call point testing and fire extinguisher servicing.
Prior to his tenure at Rutland Hall, Les had a distinguished career in the RAF regiment, serving for nine years in airfield security.
Les said: "It doesn鈥檛 feel like it has been 30 years 鈥 the time has passed so quickly. It's as if the years are getting shorter.

Recruitment, training, and business advisory firm Optima 海角视频 has announced the appointment of Will Vigars as head of manufacturing.

Collaborating alongside long-standing director Adrian Buttress, Duncan brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the roofing and building products industry, having held senior positions at the likes of Marley Building Materials, Icopal and most recently as MD of Carlisle Construction Materials.
