The owners of JCB, Bet365 and Gymshark once again feature in an annual rundown of the 海角视频's richest people.

JCB chief Lord Bamford and his family are still the West Midlands' richest people, according to the with an estimated wealth of 拢9.45 billion.

This is an increase from 拢7.65 billion a year ago, with a 拢300 million dividend going to the family over the past year (scroll down for the full regional list).

They are placed 15th in the national list. The world-renowned manufacturer of diggers has its global headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire.

The 37th annual Sunday Times Rich List is published online today and will be in a 76-page pullout supplement this weekend.

It ranks the 350 wealthiest people in the 海角视频 as well as The Sunday Times Giving List in association with the Charities Aid Foundation.

Another Staffordshire family making the list is the Coates - father Peter and children Denise and John own the Stoke-based betting website Bet365. John also owns Stoke City FC.

Their wealth is estimated at 拢9.44 billion, up by 拢1.97 billion on last year's figure, placing them second in the West Midlands and 16th nationally.

Other names included in the West Midlands top ten are Ben Francis who co-founded fitness fashion brand Gymshark from his parents' garage and is now based in Solihull.

His wealth has increased by 拢1 million to 拢726 million. He is the highest-placed person under 40 in the West Midlands, ninth overall in the region and 211th in the 海角视频 countdown.

Nationally, the Rich List ranking reveals the largest fall in the billionaire count in the guide's 37-year history.

It peaked at 177 in 2022 but has fallen to 156 this year, meaning the billionaire count has dropped for three successive years.

This year's list of 350 individuals and families together hold combined wealth of 拢772.8 billion which is three per cent down on last year.

Among the high-profile names to appear are singers Sir Elton John and Sir Mick Jagger, F1 driver Sir Lewis Hamilton and Euan Blair, the son of former PM Tony Blair.

The minimum entry level to be included in the 2025 list is 拢350 million.

The list's compiler Robert Watts said: "The Sunday Times Rich List is changing. Our billionaire count is down and the combined wealth of those who feature in our research is falling.

"We are also finding fewer of the world's super rich are coming to live in the 海角视频. This year we were also struck by the strength of criticism for Rachel Reeves's Treasury.

"We expected the abolition of non-dom status would anger affluent people from overseas.

"But homegrown young tech entrepreneurs and those running centuries-old family firms are also warning of serious consequences to a range of tax changes unveiled in last October's budget.

"Our research continues to find a wide variety of self-made entrepreneurs building fortunes, not just from artificial intelligence, video games and new technologies, but also mundane, everyday items such as makeup, radiators and jogging bottoms."
