Student accommodation specialist Kexgill Group has joined forces with the University of Liverpool to bring a new phase of student housing to its city campus. The Hull-based firm is now working on delivery options for what it says could be a 拢20m phased programme including building conversions and redevelopment of dilapidated units under consideration.
Kexgill will deliver the accommodation under its University Quarter brand with activity expected to start next year. The project is intended to boost the city's supply of housing to meet a growing student population.

This collaboration is described as establishing a benchmark model for university-industry partnerships aimed at addressing the 海角视频鈥檚 student housing affordability crisis. Kexgill already has presence in Liverpool and eight other cities around the country, as well as in the German market.
At the same time as the Liverpool deal, Kexgill has appointed Stephen Willis as joint managing director to strengthen its university and private partnership work. Mr Willis is a former chief financial officer officer of Durham, Hull and Leeds Becket universities and is the current chair of student housing charity Unipol.
