A home care provider is set to expand its services into north east Wales.
Thousands of people are currently supported by Abacare in North, Mid and South Wales.
Now the fast growing firm has revealed it will be providing care in Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire.
Peter Angelides, managing director of the award-winning care organisation, said: “We’ve been operating at a very high standard for a number of years across Wales and have an excellent team of highly trained staff, so we’re thrilled to be able to expand into these areas.
“We have taken over care provisions in these areas and all care staff and service users have continued to provide and receive care services as normal.
“Going forward we will be introducing improvements in technology to enhance the service provided and continue to improve recruitment in the area.”
A spokesman added: “Due to its continued hard work and dedication to its sector, Abacare supports thousands of people remaining in their own homes.
“It provides an extensive range of services, from daily calls and sleep-ins to bespoke live-in care services."

This comes at a time when there are concerns about recruitment in the care sector in Wales.
Mario Kreft, the chair of Care Forum Wales, recently launched a campaign to attract another 20,000 social care workers in Wales over the next 10 years.
He warned that carers need to be paid more than discount supermarket shelf stackers to solve a recruitment crisis in the sector.
The number of elderly people over the age of 80 is predicted to increase by 44% in Wales by 2030 and there are currently about 113,000 people in the social care sector.
