A training company which has been supporting critical industries throughout Covid-19 has launched live, virtual training courses on the back of the pandemic.
BOHSA, based in Cliffe Vale, Stoke-on-Trent, delivered health and safety training to more than 1,000 people during lockdown 鈥 to ensure they could keep the country running.
The company launched daily live training courses such as mental health first aid and Construction Industry Training Board-certified (CITB) courses to support workers across a variety of industries.
Managing director Daniel Sale said: 鈥淲e offer a one-touch solution to a client鈥檚 health and safety needs. We provide whatever course, whenever needed, wherever in the 海角视频 by working with lots of different trainers in different industries, and offering different options of learning whether that be online, virtual, and classroom training.
鈥淪ince March, we have worked alongside our training partners and suppliers to form a solution which will help to keep certain industries running 鈥 such as construction and highways. We had to find a practical solution for big organisations and even sub-contractors to enable them to continue to do critical work.鈥
He added: 鈥淲e went on to deliver live, virtual remote training courses 鈥 which we are still offering to our clients today. This is very much a new thing for us and we believe we are the only ones who are delivering it in Stoke-on-Trent.鈥
BOHSA鈥檚 live training sessions 鈥 which last between one and five days depending on the course 鈥 allow a limited number of people to log on from their homes and attend industry-specific training courses. Everyone who completes the course will receive a certificate which proves their new accreditation.
Daniel said: 鈥淥ur live virtual training courses are a brand new offering for BOHSA, but we expect to do it for a very long time because a lot of people already prefer that way of learning.
鈥淕oing forward we will be offering a combination of live, online and face-to-face training courses, but live learning is certainly here to stay,鈥
