A national healthcare trust provider has opened a new Bristol office as it prepares for a prosperous year.
Healix Health Services, which is headquartered in Surrey, has welcomed 75 employees to its Temple Quay office, with plans to create a further 50 jobs in the city across the next year. The new office by Bristol's harbour includes an open plan meeting with ergonomic workstations and employee breakout rooms.
The Bristol-based team will consist of health claims assessors who will be responsible for the delivery of a quick and effective claims management service for Trust members. Trust administration will continue to be managed on a wider level from the company headquarters in Esher, Surrey.
Chief executive, Ian Talbot, said: “We’re thrilled to have expanded into Bristol after experiencing record growth for our services, with turnover increasing by over 80% in the last 18 months.

“It’s currently a challenging period for both businesses and individuals as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite. This means our services are becoming increasingly important for employers who must ensure they are offering benefits that prioritise employees’ wellbeing."
Healix Health Services develops corporate healthcare services, providing health and wellbeing solutions for employees and their families. Healix operates a health trust model, an approach taken by over 40% of FTSE 100 businesses.
Mr Talbot added: “At the same time, NHS waiting lists have reached record levels, leading people to look to their employers for healthcare support.
