A Derby creative agency has helped a Formula One team revamp its online presence to help rev up its offering to fans and commercial partners.

Fluid Ideas, based in Darley Abbey Mills, has put together a new-look website for the Haas F1 Team, adding a host of new features.

This year’s Formula One season began last month after the start was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So far, races have taken place in Austria and Hungary, with the British Grand Prix due to take place this weekend at Silverstone, followed by another race at the Northamptonshire circuit the following weekend to mark the 70th anniversary of the first F1 season.

All of the races are being held without fans present, so the Haas F1 Team decided to improve its website to allow them to follow its progress in greater detail throughout the season.

This year's British Grand Prix will be held behind closed doors

The new-look website features the World Championship calendar and rankings, team profiles and a ‘race mode’ featuring updates, reports and photos from each Grand Prix as it happens.

A Haas+ section has also been introduced, which is an exclusive online area where fans can register for VIP content, prizes and giveaways.

The website also features access to the Haas F1 Team’s online store, a careers hub highlighting job vacancies, and greater interaction with commercial partners to help them leverage opportunities.
